Quasi Dub Development:
Limousine To The Guillotine.

The official app from the album "Limousine To The Guillotine" released on the mind-blowing danish electronic & experimental label "Rump Recordings".

Download this app and get the remix tracks from artists like
Thomas Knak aka Opiate, Jason Forrest , Kim Hiorthøy, Guido Möbius and Loopspool (Tied + Tickled Trio) as a free download.

For this dub-oriented project F.S. Blumm (DE/Morr Music) has teamed up with Luca Fadda on horns and Alessandro Coronas on drums.
Quasi Dub Development combine modulated horns and bricolage sounds with an Italian sense of melody and a German feel for clarity and precision.

Developed by the award winning interactive studio Futura Epsis 1, "QDD" is a symbiosis of audio and video; merging the inspiring creativity of its makers.

But especially great - above all - is the tremendously relaxed
attitude of the short and very catchy melodies on trumpet and melodica
varying over time in all tracks without losing the tension.
Therefore, "Limousine To The Guillotine" is such a friendly, warm and
at the same time bizarre album. You can tell that real skilled dubbers
with plenty of dedication have been at work, - true artists that
always remained fans.

Reviews (Flash) on "F.S.BLUMM meets LUCA FADDA" (CD, Ahornfelder, 2007):

"A relaxed, truly great, the whole world breathing, harmonic album. Really a good record! Joy!"
- Spex

"The award hot off the press musician of the month was given in October to FS Blumm for its deliciously playful CD F.S. Blumm meets Luca Fadda."
- Denis Scheck / ARD "das erste"

While there is levity present, the musicians also bring an inarguable
seriousness to the music itself, and while they clearly have respect
for the genre, theres not so much that the playing becomes overly
reverential or sober. Though the album apparently was stitched
together from independently recorded sessions (in Berlin, New York,
and Cagliari), the resultant album exudes a live and interactive feel
more naturally suggestive of musicians laying down tracks live within
a shared physical space.

F.S. Blumm, Luca Fadda and Alessandro Coronas have fun with their
Quasi-Dub. Blumm provides an economical functional bass, Coronas just
does the same on drums and Fadda rages from the Whammy pedal, which
doesnt only bring out barely recognizable sounds from his trumpet,
but also simulates a 1a-tuba, thereby bringing the dub-foundation a
dose of Balkan.
